The Oodle Edit · A life shared
Find your rhythm together.
This is the chapter for making everyday life feel good: enjoyable walks, small challenges, proper rest and a place to belong.
Choose your Oodle
Open the 18 months–3 years guide for your dog’s breed mix.
General guidance for this age
From 18 months until 3 years
A routine that fits real life
- Use the diet and exercise guide to balance meals, training rewards and activity.
- Rotate sniffing games, supervised food puzzles and familiar walks.
- Practise being apart gradually; ongoing distress needs professional help, not simply more exercise.
- Maintain coat and dental routines even when everything looks fine.
- Keep preventive care current for daycare, boarding and travel.
Plan around the individual
Choose activities by your dog’s health, fitness and enjoyment. A quiet companion and an energetic explorer do not need identical weekends. Build new challenges gradually and make it easy for them to opt out.
Your monthly check-in
Write down weight, appetite, coat condition, movement and any new worries. Compare with your previous notes rather than with another owner’s dog.
